![]() In terms of the Heirs ending, you have to make sure you kill every single successor you encounter. It is important to know when starting Code Vein that your interactions with the Successors will heavily influence which ending you achieve. RELATED: Awesome Code Vein Cosplay That Look Just Like The Game The Heirs ending is quite a sad, hopeless finale to the story and very clearly the bad end. Io then returns to the Bloodspring from the beginning of the game but soon turns to ash, leaving behind your character's weapon resting against the Bloodspring. Meanwhile, Mia, Yakumo, and Jack take their place as the new Successors, looking very defeated. ![]() Louis then takes to the throne to keep up the mist himself. Louis decides mercy kill you, stabbing you in the back before things get out of hand. Your eyes begin to glow, and it looks like you're about to unleash a lot of chaos. But, as you begin to absorb the relics to start this process, it becomes clear that you are unable to control them. During the campaign, you've learned that someone needs to replace Silva as the next Queen in order to maintain the Red mist. As with all the other endings, you start by defeating the Skull King. Should save you a run.The Heirs ending is considered the worst one to unlock. Don’t do this, and instead finish the Eos Bloodcode and fight the boss again. I haven’t confirmed this, but presumably you can get both true endings but saving all of the successors, beating the boss, then the game will load you back to just before the boss and you have the option to start New Game+. HOWEVER I have heard that there are two versions of the true ending, one where you save all of the successors AND someone else - the owner of the Eos Bloodcode, vague for spoiler reasons - and another where you safe the successors but not the other person. ![]() As for saving all of them, that will get you the true ending. For the ‘meh’ ending, you can save as many successors as you like so long as you leave one of them to die - I’d recommend simply saving one of them - I found the second one to be the easiest in terms of finding the vestiges, but that’s your choice. To get the bad ending, just don’t pick up the vestiges. ![]() Actually going through the memory sequences to restore the vestiges is not necessary, you only need to have the parts - although this may be a bug since the game encourages you to restore the vestiges immediately before the fight. Beating the successor and then going back to collect the vestiges will not work, it has to be before. ![]() To save a successor, you need to beat them after you’ve already collected all of the relevant vestiges. In the area leading up to a fight against a successor, there will be four to five vestige parts that can be collected.
